Questions about an order, a partnership, the Workforce Program, or just want to tell us how that hot honey changed your fried chicken game? We read every message.
Frequently Asked
Quick answers, honestly.
How long does shipping take?
Standard orders ship within 1–2 business days from our Idaho fulfillment partner. Most domestic orders arrive in 3–5 business days via USPS or UPS Ground. Free shipping on orders over $50.
My honey crystallized. Did it go bad?
No, it's actually proof it's the real deal. Raw, unpasteurized honey naturally crystallizes over time — that's what real honey does. To re-liquify, set the bottle in a bowl of warm (not hot) tap water for 10–15 minutes. Never microwave it; high heat damages the enzymes.
What's your return policy?
Because honey is a food product, we don't accept returns of opened jars. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, email hello@idahogoldproducts.com within 14 days with photos and we'll make it right — replacement or refund, your choice.
Is your honey actually all from Idaho?
Yes. We work directly with small Idaho beekeepers and don't blend in imported honey — ever. Our label says "100% All Idaho Honey" and we mean it. We can trace any batch back to the apiaries it came from.
Why don't you pasteurize?
Pasteurization heats honey above 161°F to extend shelf life and prevent crystallization. It also destroys the enzymes (diastase, invertase, glucose oxidase) and dulls the flavor. We'd rather sell honey that's biologically alive than honey that looks pretty on a shelf forever.
Can I tour the workforce facility?
We host occasional open houses for press, partners, and supporters. Email program@idahogoldproducts.com if you'd like to be on the list.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We currently ship within the continental U.S. only. International expansion is on the roadmap — sign up for the newsletter to be the first to know.
Is the honey safe for kids? For pregnancy?
Honey of any kind — raw or pasteurized — should not be given to children under 12 months due to the risk of infant botulism. For adults, including during pregnancy, our raw honey is perfectly safe. As always, ask your doctor if you have specific medical concerns.
